Fountain.jpg (486962 bytes)

Lower Left is the Museum of Modern Art, Kennedy Era federal Architecture, blech!   Fortunately mostly hidden by landscaping.  Across the Prado from it is a hole, soon to be filled by the rebuilt Cafe del Rey Moro (I'm sure it has a real name but I don't remember it), not that the cafe actually survived the change.  There used to be the best old Bar in there.  Next on the hole side (right) is the building housing the Museum of Photographic Arts, The Hall of Champions, The Model Railroading Museum and the San Diego Historical Society Museum.  It used to be called the Electric Building and it housed the Aerospace Museum before some bastard arsonist torched it in '78.  At the end of the Prado is our famous fountain, it sits between the Natural History Museum (left) and the R. H. Fleet Space Theatre (right).  Both of which are mostly hidden and more importantly, shaded by trees.
